THE SOUL OF MONEY

By Lynn Twist

I met Lynn Twist at a leadership program and felt so touched by her gentle, genuine and kind energy. I have struggled with my relationship with money for most of my life. This book helps me see money as a currency of love, which is meant to flow in and flow out like water. Let money be a vehicle to reinforce what we value - let every dollar earned and spent represent our values.

CONSCIOUS BUSINESS

By Fred Kofman

As a workplace culture consultant, I am always looking for ways to make the workplace effective and more human. Kofman shares what it means to run a conscious business. I especially enjoy using his framework in mediating conflict and fostering understanding in the workplace.

WHAT I KNOW FOR SURE

By Oprah Winfrey

I like to keep this book on my bedside. If I had a tough day, I would open this book to a random page and read a short section before I go to bed. I find a lot of comfort in Oprah (her wisdom, her presence, and especially her voice). I also love that this book is a collection of short personal Oprah stories. Each story is a quick reminder for the way I want to show up in life.

BIG MAGIC

By Elizabeth Gilbert

I have enjoyed Gilbert's works since reading "Eat, Prey, Love" almost 10 years ago. Big Magic is an easy read and a good reminder to remain curious. Value the seeker in me. Don't be so hard on myself. Let the inspiration and creativity come through at unexpected moments.

Another easy to read/ quick read. Learn from Huffington's experience on how to live a sustainable and meaningful life, in a society where most career women feel overwhelmed by the demands of work and home life.
